Countless times have I spent wondering where God would take me on my journey. Always wanting to know the path, I would constantly try to figure out where I was being led to as if I could fully dissect the intentions of the Infinite Creator. Despite my greatest efforts, even to this day I am unsure of exactly what God is calling me to, but I am quite certain that He is continuing to call me every single day to be at His side, following His will. This is our destination: calling.

Callings are very special, and everyone has one. Some are called to be involved in the “8 to 5” workforce, some are called to an office job, some are called to run a company, and then some are called to missionary work or to faithfully lead a church. These callings are dependent upon the gifts God has specifically distributed. Regardless of the call or gift though, the purpose continues to remain the same; to faithfully serve and obey God wherever He has placed you.

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

Colossians 3:17 ESV

As for my journey, I was blessed with learning early on that the gifts God had given me were to be used for ministry. Around my junior year in high school, I was certain that God was calling me to serve Him with a vocation centered around ministry. As of right now, I am unsure of exactly what this will look like, but I am certain that His plan will be glorious as always.

With this blog post, I am going to conclude The Journey series. By no means is my journey, or your journey, over for that matter. Instead, we are called to live on for the gospel until we are joined together with our Savior for an eternity of joyful bliss.
