Discerning Your Call to Ministry: How to Know For Sure and What to Do About It by Jason K. Allen discusses the call to vocational ministry in one’s life. Allen lays out a foundation for determining whether or not someone is called to the ministry. He discusses some practical ways to know, how to respond if this is the case, and what to do if God isn’t calling you into a vocational, ministerial role.
This book opens up with a foreword by R. Albert Mohler Jr., transitions into a preface, an introduction, and then into the bulk of the book. It is divided into 10 chapters that are all wrapped up in the conclusion at the end of the book, and only has 154 pages.
This book is great for anyone who has felt a call to ministry, and has a desire to flesh more of that out in order to determine whether or not they are indeed called to vocational ministry.
