The Character of the Church by Joe Thorn discusses the attributes that make up the church of today. Joe looks briefly, yet still intimately, into the life of Christ’s bride. He dissects her, and ultimately characterizes here in order to inform readers of what the bride of Christ should be.

This book is split up into five different parts that come together to form one character: the preaching of God’s Word, the correct administration of the ordinances, the leadership of the church, discipline practiced by the church, and the mission of the church. This book is a quick read with only 129 pages, and is an excellent pickup for young Christian disciples who have a desire to know more about the church.

Our Suggestion

Any, young or old, Christian disciple who desires to know more about the church’s who’s and what’s should pick up this book.
